On the first Sunday of Advent, the Vigeland Museum warmly welcomes the whole family to a day filled with Christmas spirit! Join us for a festive afternoon with a creative workshop, guided tours, and a cozy pop-up café, before we end the day outdoors in Vigeland Park for the traditional Christmas tree lighting.

As tradition goes, we invite both children and adults to our Christmas workshop. In the lecture hall, you’ll also find our pop-up café filled with the scent of gingerbread, warm mulled wine, coffee, and Christmas soda.

At 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00, we offer guided tours of Gustav Vigeland’s artist home. Free tickets are available at the reception from 12:00, with a maximum of 15 participants per group.

The workshop is open from 12:00 to 15:30, and the museum stays open until 16:00. Afterwards, we’ll head together to The Vigeland Park, where, together with Frognerparkens venner, we’ll light the Christmas tree and sing in the holiday season.
