Following a series of critically acclaimed albums and concerts, pianist and composer Kjetil Husebø comes to the Vigeland Museum with his project Piano Transformed.

In Piano Transformed, grand piano, live sampling and electronics merge in real-time improvisation. Beautiful piano melodies, atmospheric soundscapes, abstract textures and unexpected musical turns emerge and transform in the moment. The music moves seamlessly from the intimate and contemplative to the cinematic and expansive, from subtle soundscapes to rhythmic, pulsating and intense passages, constantly moving, constantly changing.

In recent years, Husebø has received glowing reviews in both Norwegian and international media and has collaborated with acclaimed musicians such as Arve Henriksen and Eivind Aarset. In 2025, he released the double album Piano Transformed – Interspace, which received excellent reviews both in Norway and internationally.
