Family Workshop
Did you know that Gustav Vigeland used clay when creating his sculptures? Get inspired by the sculptures in the museum and create your very own clay sculpture in Vigeland’s own workshop.
We work on different tasks in each workshop, and a professional instructor will be present to guide you through the process.
The workshop is open to the whole family and children of all ages, but the activities are designed for ages 4 and up. You can choose whether to follow the assigned task or simply let your imagination run wild.
The workshop can accommodate up to 30 people at a time, so specific entry times have been set. This may result in a queue, but Vigeland Park is a perfect place to wait, with playgrounds and cafés. We also provide art scavenger hunts for children to enjoy in the museum or park. The entry times are 12:30, 13:30, and 14:30. No registration is required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult in the workshop. Children enter the museum for free, while adults must purchase an admission ticket.
Please note that strollers are not allowed inside the museum, but stroller parking is available in both the museum and the courtyard.
Welcome!
