Family Workshop: Make Sculptures in Clay
Did you know that Gustav Vigeland used clay when creating his sculptures? Let yourself be inspired by the sculptures in the museum and create your very own clay sculpture in Vigeland’s own studio.
Location: Vigeland Museum, Nobels gate 32
Tickets: Tickets for all workshops are distributed from 12:00 on the day of the event. First come, first served.
Time: 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30 daily
Duration: 45 minutes per workshop
Price: Free for children. Adults need a valid admission ticket or membership.
Who: Tasks are recommended from age 4, but children of all ages are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
Language: Norwegian
Capacity: 30 participants per workshop. No advance registration. This event may fill up.
Each workshop includes different tasks, and a professional instructor will be present to guide you through the process. The workshop is open to the whole family and children of all ages, but the activities are designed for ages 4 and up. You can choose whether to follow the set task or simply let your imagination lead the way.
There is space for only 30 people in the workshop at a time, which is why entry is organized in time slots. Queues may occur, but Vigeland Park is a perfect place to wait, with playgrounds and cafés. We also provide art scavenger hunts for children to enjoy in the museum or the park.
