Oslo Culture Night 2025
Welcome to Oslo Culture Night at the Vigeland Museum. On this evening, we are open from 17:00–22:00 with free admission.
Location: Vigeland Museum, Nobels gate 32
When: 17:00–22:00
Price: Free admission and free guided tours
Language: Norwegian
Capacity: The event itself has no overall capacity and cannot sell out. The guided tours are limited to 15 participants in Vigeland’s artist residence and 30 participants in the Feminist Aesthetics tour. Tickets cannot be booked online in advance. Free tickets for both admission and tours can be collected at the museum reception from 17:00.
You can experience the museum’s permanent collection with the plaster originals of the iconic sculptures in the Vigeland Park, as well as several of Gustav Vigeland’s early works, monuments, and portrait busts.
There will also be guided tours of Gustav Vigeland’s own apartment on the 3rd floor, where the interior has been preserved just as the artist designed it – including furniture, textiles, and details created by Vigeland himself.
In addition, we invite you to join the tour of the exhibition Feminist Aesthetics, where new paintings by the Danish artist Emily Gernild are presented alongside sculptures by the modernist Sonja Ferlov Mancoba.
