The sound of ghosts

The Swedish artist Hausswolff, together with Michael Esposito, has been around the world exploring the phenomenon of Electronic Voice Phenomena - where they have searched and found voices from the past and the other side by a distinctive recording technique.

In the spring of 2019 they visited the Vigeland Museum and made recordings in the house where Gustav Vigeland lived and worked. At this performance lecture, created specifically for Ultima and Vigeland Anniversary, they present their findings and tell about the work of searching for the sound of spirits and ghosts from the past in the museum.

Electronic Voice Phenomena is a collective term for energy fields and sound pathways that deal with both past and present, between science and parapsychology.

Who knows - maybe you get a greeting from Gustav Vigeland himself?

The performance lecture is held at 20.00 and 2300. The event is free and part of the Oslo Culture Night. English.
