Join us for the opening of this autumn's exhibition, Eckbos Legat Grant Exhibition, with new works by Johannes Engelsen Espedal (b. 1988), Liilian Saksi (b. 1989), Wendimagegn Belete Masresha (b. 1986), and Sebastian Rusten (b. 1986). ✨

Eckbos Legat Grant Exhibition is this autumn's exhibition at the Vigeland Museum, presenting new works by Johannes Engelsen Espedal (b. 1988), Wendimagegn Belete Masresha (b. 1986), Sebastian Rusten (b. 1986), and Liilian Saksi (b. 1989).

The exhibition features four site-specific works, with a particular emphasis on materiality, craftsmanship, and the relationship between artwork and space. During the exhibition period, the jury will select one of the projects to receive a scholarship award of NOK 200,000.

At the opening, welcome speeches will be held in the museum's courtyard by the exhibition curators Kristine Wessel (Mesén) and Jarle Strømodden (Vigeland Museum), as well as the Chair of Eckbos Legat. The exhibition will then be officially opened by Mehmet Inan Khan (Conservative Party), The Vice Mayor for Culture and Business Development in Oslo.
