Oslo City grants scholarships for arts and cultural purposes. The application deadline is September 15, 2019. There are several scholarships to apply for, but there is only opportunity to apply for one type of scholarship per year.

The Vigeland scholarship is primarily awarded for research on Gustav Vigeland's art. Grants can also be awarded for research on other art and cultural collections within the Cito of Oslo or for innovative dissemination of Munch and Vigeland's art.

The Vigeland Scholarship is one of several grants awarded by Kulturetaten on behalf of the City of Oslo. The scholarship you are applying for now, will be used the following year.
