Family Workshop
Did you know that Gustav Vigeland used clay when he created his sculptures? Let yourself be inspired by the sculptures in the museum and create your very own sculpture in clay in Gustav Vigeland's own studio.
We work on different tasks in each workshop, such as dragons, "Sinnataggen" (the Angry Boy), reliefs, and many other exciting themes that Gustav Vigeland also worked on. There will be a professional guide present to assist you in the process.
The workshop is open to children of all ages, but the tasks are designed for those aged 4 and above. Please note that a companion must accompany them. Children enter the museum for free, while adults must pay an entrance fee.
There is only space for 30 people in the workshop at a time, so specific entry times have been set for the workshop. There may be a queue, but Vigeland Park is a perfect place to wait, with playgrounds and cafes. Additionally, we provide art quizzes for children to solve in the museum or the park. The entry times are 12:30, 13:30, and 14:30. Participation does not require registration.
Unfortunately, strollers are not allowed in the museum, but we have stroller parking inside the museum and in the courtyard.
Welcome!
