Welcome to an artist talk with Ellinor Aurora Aasgaard and Zayne Armstrong!

Aasgaard and Armstrong show the project The Grind in the Eckbos Legat Anniversary Exhibition. This is an installation consisting of kinetic sculptures that satirize what they describe as "the hyper-commodified, mass-mediated and performance-driven conditions in which we live". The project uses animatronics to replace both the worker and the consumer in the experience economy, with elements that in terms of form reflect on contemporary café culture.
